Itty Bitty's are similar to ATC's, but mearsure 3 x 3. I am always challenged to work with a new size. I created two sets of itty bitty's for an upcoming swap thru ArtChix Studio http://www.artchixstudio.com/. If you would like to participate in a swap thru Artchix Studio go to the website, than classes & activities. The set to the left is created with my dear Lu Lu in mind. For those of you who don't know Lu Lu, she is my little miniature pincher. I used a fun wrapping paper that features doggies, added Artchix post, and finished the itty bitty off with a snazzy collar my Lu Lu would be proud to wear. The second set Icreated with Paris theme, Artchix glamour post and many embellishments (even the netting that came on my Thanksgiving Turkey).

Till next creation,

C.Marie

"Autumn" Altered Book update

I have been working on this, "Autumn" altered book since November. I was lucky to get into L.K.Ludwig's class at Art and Soul 2007 "House of Natural History". I learned many new techniques like block carving, applying patina to metal mesh, and explored ink jet image transfers.
These are the latest itty bitty's I have created to go in my book. I find it fun to be able to create small pieces after work.
The background on this page is actually from material of a vintage skirt I found on one of my adventures during the summer. I love the design and it works perfect for this book.
I have worked with my recycled grocery bags for pages in this book. I got the idea off Judy Wise's blog judywise.blogspot.com. I love all the fun techniques she shares on her blog.
Currently, I have 7 pages completed and hope to be at 12 by the time the book is finished.
